Η Δρ Αύρα Πιερίδου Σκουτέλλα σχεδίασε και συντονίζει τη στρατηγική σύμπραξη MusiChild. Είναι η ιδρύτρια και πρόεδρος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου του Κυπριακού Κέντρου για την Έρευνα και Μελέτη της Μουσικής (C.C.R.S.M.). Ήταν μεταδιδακτορική ερευνήτρια στο Institute of Education-University of London με την καθοδήγηση της Καθηγήτριας Δρ Lucy Green (2012 & 2013). Έχει διοριστεί μέλος της επιστημονικής επιτροπής (2014-2020) για την έκδοση International Journal of Music Education: Research (ISME).

Για την περίοδο 2002-2009 δίδαξε στη Μουσική Ακαδημία ARTE θέματα μουσικής παιδαγωγικής, εθνομουσικολογίας και ανθρωπολογίας της μουσικής. Σχεδίασε, δίδαξε και παρουσίασε τα δυο μεγάλης κλίμακας εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα για την προσχολική και πρώτη σχολική ηλικία του Ιδρύματος της Συμφωνικής Ορχήστρας Κύπρου (2009 & 2010).

Είναι δημιουργός και συμπαραγωγός της έκδοσης: Κυπριακά Παραδοσιακά Τραγούδια για Παιδιά. Μέσα από την επιστήμη της μουσικής Παιδαγωγικής η οποία περιλαμβάνει μουσικοπαιδαγωγικό εγχειρίδιο, ψηφιακό δίσκο με παραδοσιακή εκτέλεση από φωνητικό σχήμα παιδιών και σειρά από τραγουδο-βιβλία.

Η έκδοση έχει εγκριθεί από το Υπουργείο Παιδείας της Κύπρου το οποίο εξόπλισε τα δημόσια σχολεία με αυτήν. Η Αύρα ίδρυσε τα μουσικοπαιδαγωγικά προγράμματα Preludio (2002) για παιδιά (0- 8 χρόνων) και οικογένειες.

Έχει παρουσιάσει ερευνητικά άρθρα σε αριθμό διεθνών ακαδημαϊκών συνεδρίων και άρθρα της έχουν δημοσιευθεί σε διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά και εκδοτικούς οίκους.

Η Δρ Σκουτέλλα φοίτησε στην Παιδαγωγική Ακαδημία Κύπρου, στο Eastman School of Music - University of Rochester, USA (B.M., με πλήρη CASP-Fulbright Scholarship), στο Reading University (M.A., Music Education) UK and στο Institute of Education-University of London (Ph.D., Music Education).

Σύνδεσμος Ιδιωτικής Προσχολικής Εκπαίδευσης Κύπρου (ΣΙΠΕΚ)

Ο Σύνδεσμος Ιδιωτικής Προσχολικής Εκπαίδευσης Κύπρου (ΣΙΠΕΚ), μέλος της Ομοσπονδίας Εργοδοτών & Βιομηχάνων (ΟΕΒ), ιδρύθηκε το 1976 και σήμερα αποτελείται από 113 ιδιωτικές σχολές προσχολικής εκπαίδευσης (βρεφοκομικούς-παιδοκομικούς σταθμούς και νηπιαγωγεία). Ο Σύνδεσμος αποτελεί τον μοναδικό εκπρόσωπο της ιδιωτικής προσχολικής εκπαίδευσης στην Κύπρο και ως κοινωνικός εταίρος εκφράζει τις θέσεις και απόψεις του σε επιτροπές για θέματα που αφορούν την προσχολική εκπαίδευση σε τεχνικές επιτροπές, στην Βουλή των Αντιπροσώπων και σε άλλες αρμόδιες κυβερνητικές αρχές. Kύριοι στόχοι του είναι: Η αποτελεσματική επίλυση των προβλημάτων που αντιμετωπίζουν τα Μέλη του Συνδέσμου, η συνεχής ενίσχυση των Μελών του, για την πρόοδο και ανάπτυξη του επαγγέλματος των Βρεφοκόμων-Παιδοκόμων και Νηπιαγωγών στην Κύπρο, της ποιότητας των προσφερόμενων υπηρεσιών - περιλαμβανομένης και της διοργάνωσης εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων, επιμορφωτικών σεμιναρίων, συνεδρίων, διαλέξεων και άλλων δραστηριοτήτων - και η ανάπτυξη επικοινωνιακών σχέσεων με τους γονείς ή συνδέσμους γονέων για εποικοδομητικό διάλογο.

Η Ζωή Διονυσίου είναι Επίκουρος Καθηγήτρια Μουσικής Παιδαγωγικής στο Τμήμα Μουσικών Σπουδών του Ιονίου Πανεπιστημίου. Σπούδασε Παιδαγωγική (Παιδαγωγικό Τμήμα Νηπιαγωγών, ΑΠΘ) και Μουσική (Πιάνο, Ανώτερα Θεωρητικά και Βυζαντινή Εκκλησιαστική Μουσική). Έχει Μεταπτυχιακό (M.A.) και Διδακτορικό Δίπλωμα (Ph.D.) στη Μουσική Παιδαγωγική από το Institute of Education του Πανεπιστημίου του Λονδίνου. Από τον Οκτώβριο του 2002 διδάσκει στο Τμήμα Μουσικών Σπουδών του Ιονίου Πανεπιστημίου. Τα κυριότερα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα περιλαμβάνουν τη μουσική αγω- γή βρεφών και νηπίων, την εκπαίδευση εκπαιδευτικών μουσικής, τη διδακτική της ελληνικής παραδοσιακής μουσικής, καθώς επίσης και το συνδυασμό των τεχνών στη μουσική εκπαίδευση. Συντονίζει πλήθος δράσεων για τη μουσική στην κοινότητα που προσφέρει το Ιόνιο Πανεπιστήμιο, όπως προγράμματα μουσικής για βρέφη και νήπια, μουσικοπαιδαγωγικά προγράμματα σε μουσεία, πινακοθήκες και βιβλιοθήκες στην Κέρκυρα και αλλού. Είναι επιστημονική υπεύθυνη του «Ψηφιακού Μουσικού Ανθολογίου για εκπαιδευτική χρήση - Ευτέρπη», που υλοποιείται από την Ελληνική Ένωση για τη Μουσική Εκπαίδευση και τη Μεγάλη Μουσική Βιβλιοθήκη της Ελλάδας «Λίλιαν Βουδούρη» μετά από τη βράβευση ISME - Gibson Award 2012.

H Iωάννα Eτμεκτσόγλου σπούδασε στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Iλλινόις (Oυρμπάνα, H.Π.A.), από όπου έλαβε πτυχίο και μεταπτυχιακό στη μουσική παιδαγωγική και διδακτορικό (Ph.D) στη Μουσική Ψυχολογία με έμφαση στην εκπαίδευση (1992). Αργότερα σπούδασε μουσικοθεραπεία (Μ.Α. 2007) στο Anglia Ruskin University (Cambridge, Αγγλία). Aπό το 1995 εργάζεται στο Tμήμα Mουσικών Σπουδών του Iονίου Πανεπιστημίου, όπου διδάσκει μουσική ψυχολογία, μουσική για την ειδική αγωγή, εκπαιδευτική ψυχολογία για μουσικούς καθώς και εισαγωγικά μαθήματα μουσικοθεραπείας. Στον τομέα της εκπαιδευτικής ψυχολογίας με επίκεντρο τον ήχο και τη μουσική, ενδιαφέρεται για τη δημιουργία, πιλοτική χρήση και αξιολόγηση αναπτυξιακά και πολιτισμικά κατάλληλου διδακτικού υλικού. Πειραματίζεται με διδακτικές προσεγγίσεις οι οποίες βασίζονται στην ανακάλυψη και επεκτείνουν τη διδασκαλία σε πλαίσια εκτός τάξης. Οι προσεγγίσεις αυτές στοχεύουν στην ενίσχυση της δημιουργικότητας των παιδιών, στην καλλιέργεια της ακουστικής τους αντίληψης και στην ανάπτυξη ικανοτήτων και κινήτρων για εκτίμηση του περιβάλλοντος μέσω εμπειριών με επίκεντρο τον ήχο.

Καθηγητής στο Τμήμα Μουσικής Εκπαίδευσης, Πανεπιστήμιο της Γρανάδα

Ο José Luis Aróstegui είναι Καθηγητής στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Γρανάδα στην Ισπανία στο Τμήμα της Μουσικής Εκπαίδευσης. Έχει κάνει σπουδές στη Δυτική κλασική μουσική, στην εκπαίδευση και στην ποιοτική έρευνα. Από το 2001 μέχρι το 2003 έκανε μεταδιδακτορική έρευνα στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Ιλλινόις στις ΗΠΑ με υποτροφία του Υπουργείου Παιδείας της Ισπανίας. Έχει παρουσιάσει άρθρα σε αριθμό διεθνών συνεδρίων (AERA, ISME, AEA) και άρθρα του έχουν δημοσιευθεί σε διεθνή περιοδικά και εκδοτικούς οίκους. Από το 2004 μέχρι το 2007, του ανατέθηκε από την Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή να συντονίσει μια μεγάλης κλίμακας αξιολόγηση Προγραμμάτων Εκπαίδευσης για Δασκάλους Μουσικής στην Ευρώπη και τη Λατινική Αμερική. Έχει επίσης ηγηθεί ενός ερευνητικού πρότζεκτ επιχορηγημένου από την Ισπανική κυβέρνηση σχετικά με το ρόλο της γυναίκας στο εκπαιδευτικό σύστημα της Ισπανίας. Έχει εργαστεί ως μέλος της Επιτροπής για τη Μουσική στα Σχολεία και την Εκπαίδευση των Δασκάλων, από το 2004 μέχρι το 2010 (ISME), υπηρετώντας ως Πρόεδρος της επιτροπής τα τελευταία δύο χρόνια σε αυτό το διάστημα. Είναι μέλος του Δ.Σ. του ISME (2012-16) και Εκδότης του Μουσικού Περιοδικού Revista Internacional de Education (Διεθνές Περιοδικό για την Εκπαίδευση).

Αντιπρύτανης Πανεπιστημιούπολη της Μελίγια , Πανεπιστήμιο της Γρανάδα

Η Amaya Epelde Larranaga είναι μέλος του προσωπικού του Τμήματος Μουσικής Εκπαίδευσης στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Γρανάδα (Contratada Doctora) και εργάζεται στην πανεπιστημιούπολη της Μελίγια. Αυτή την περίοδο διδάσκει στα προγράμματα παιδαγωγικής των δασκάλων για την Παιδαγωγική της Πρώτης Παιδικής Ηλικίας και του Δημοτικού, όπως επίσης και στο μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα για την παιδαγωγική των δασκάλων δευτεροβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης. Αυτά τα θέματα σχετίζονται με τη μουσική εκπαίδευση και τις μεθόδους έρευνας στον τομέα της εκπαίδευσης. Ο τομέας ειδίκευσής της είναι η δημιουργικότητα στη μουσική εκπαίδευση τόσο στο νηπιαγωγείο όσο και στις βαθμίδες του Δημοτικού, έχοντας δημοσιεύσει άρθρα σε τοπικά και διεθνή περιοδικά και βιβλία, ως αποτέλεσμα ερευνητικών πρότζεκτ στα οποία έλαβε μέρος. Είναι επίσης η συντάκτρια του περιοδικού «Publicaciones”, το οποίο εκδίδεται από το Τμήμα Παιδαγωγικών και Ανθρωπιστικών Σπουδών της Μελίγια. Από το 2012, είναι αντιπρύτανης και εκπροσωπεί τον Πρύτανη του Πανεπιστημίου της Γρανάδα στην Πανεπιστημιούπολη της Μελίγια.

H Paola Anselmi είναι μουσικοπαιδαγωγός, συντονίστρια προγραμμάτων, συγγραφέας και εκπαιδεύτρια. Στη δουλειά της έχει αφιερωθεί ως μουσικοπαι- δαγωγός για παιδιά, συντονίστρια του διεθνούς πρότζεκ Musica in Culla (Μουσική στην Κούνια) στην Ιταλία και Ισπανία, συντονίστρια για τη μουσική εκπαίδευση της πρώτης παιδικής ηλικίας για την Scuola Popolare di Musica Donna Olimpia (Μουσική Σχολή Ντόννα Ολύμπια) στη Ρώμη, και εκπαιδεύτρια δασκάλων, νηπιαγωγών, μουσικών και παρουσιάστρια σε κονσερβατόρια, νοσοκομεία, πανεπιστήμια, δημόσια και ιδιωτικά ιδρύματα στην Ιταλία, Ισπανία, Παλαιστίνη και Ισραήλ. Η δουλειά της Paola επικεντρώνεται στο να μεταμορφώσει τη σημασία της μουσικής στη ζωή και ανάπτυξη ενός παιδιού σε πραγματικότητα στην καθημερινή ζωή των παιδιών. Εδώ και χρόνια επιδεικνύει ενδιαφέρον για τις διάφορες κουλτούρες και μουσικές παραδόσεις, πειραματιζόμενη στην πράξη με τη γλώσσα της μουσικής ως στοιχείο ενοποίησης, επικοινωνίας και ανάπτυξης σε αρκετές Ευρωπαϊκές χώρες και πάρα πέρα.

Dr Avra Pieridou Skoutella designed MUSICHILD Strategic Partnership which is coordinated by C.C.R.S.M. She is the Founder and President of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Centre for the Research and Study of Music (C.C.R.S.M.).

Dr Pieridou Skoutella was a Post-Doctoral Research Scholar in Music Education at the Institute of Education-University of London collaborating with Prof. Lucy Green (2012 & 2013). In September 2014 she was appointed to serve a six-year term as a member of the Editorial Committee of the International Journal of Music Education: Research. Dr Skoutella lectured at ARTE Music Academy courses in music education, ethnomusicology, musical anthropology and music leadership (2002-2009). Before this post she taught for a number of years in the Cypriot public educational system. Dr Skoutella designed and established the first Cypriot-registered early childhood music education programmes named Preludio (2002 -). She was the curator, educator and presenter of the two large scale ECME programmes of the Cyprus Symphonic Orchestra Foundation (2009 & 2010). Avra authored and co-produced the innovative publication Cypriot Traditional Songs for Children; Through Music Education Practices which contains a CD with traditional children’s singing from the east coast of the island, a book with music education activities for teachers and parents and a series of Song-books for young children. The Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus having granted accreditation to the publication, supplied the public kindergarten and primary schools of the country with it.

Dr Avra Pieridou Skoutella has presented research papers in local, regional and international academic conferences and she has published research articles and book chapters in peer-reviewed journals and publications in education, music education and ethnomusicology.

Avra holds diplomas and degrees from the Pedagogical Academy of Cyprus (Teacher’s Diploma), Eastman School of Music-University of Rochester, USA (B.M., with full CASP-Fulbright Scholarship), Reading University (M.A.) UK and Institute of Education-University of London (PhD). She is a certified Instructor of Infant Massage by the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM).

The Cyprus Association of Private Preschool Education (CAPPE)

The Cyprus Association of Private Preschool Education (CAPPE), member of the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation, was founded in 1976 and is now consisted of 113 private preschool education institutions (nursery schools and kindergartens). It is the sole representative of private preschool education in Cyprus and a social partner which expresses its views and opinions over relevant matters at committees, the Parliament and any other government authority. CAPPE’s major aims are: (a) to provide effective solutions to problems that the Association Members may face from time to time; (b) to continuously support the members of the Association for the progress and development of the profession of preschool education and child care in Cyprus, the quality of the offered services, including organizing training programs, training seminars, conferences, lectures and other activities; (c) to develop relationships and effective communication with parents or parents associations for constructive dialogue on issues of common interest.

Zoe Dionyssiou is Assistant Professor in Music Education at the Department of Music, Ionian University, based in Corfu. She studied Education (Department of Early Childhood Education, Thessaloniki) and music. She completed her postgraduate studies (MA and PhD in Music Education) at the Institute of Education, University of London. Since October 2002 she teaches music education at the Ionian University in Corfu. Her main research interests include music for babies and toddlers, music teachers’ education, the teaching of Greek traditional music, music in museums and cross-arts' projects. She coordinates a series of community music educational activities offered by Ionian University, such as Music Education courses for babies and toddlers, educational programmes for children in museums, art galleries and libraries. She is co-ordinator of the Project “Euterpi - Digital Music Anthology,” a project designed upon the receipt of ISME - Gibson 2012 award to both Greek Society for Music Education and Lilian Voudouri Music Library.

Ioanna Etmektsoglou studied at the University of Illinois (Urbana, U.S.A.), from where she has received both bachelor’s and master's degrees in Music Education and a Ph.D. in Psychology of Music: Curriculum and Instruction (1992). At a later stage, she trained as a music therapist (?aster of ?rts, 2007) at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, England. Since 1995, she has been a member of the academic staff at the Department of Music of the Ionian University in Corfu, Greece, teaching courses in the fields of music psychology, music education, and music therapy. Her current interests in educational psychology of music lie in creating and testing developmentally and culturally meaningful curriculum resources, aiming at fostering children’s creativity, refining their acoustic perception and encouraging them to appreciate the environment through experiences centered on sound.

José Luis Aróstegui is Professor at University of Granada--Spain--, Music Education at the University of Granada. His formal training is in Western classical music, education and qualitative research. During 2001-2003, he held a postdoctoral fellowship sponsored by the Ministry of Education of Spain at the University of Illinois, USA.
He has presented papers at a number of international conferences (AERA, ISME, AEA) and published papers in international journals and publishing companies. From 2004 to 2007, he was appointed by the European Commission to co-ordinate a major evaluation of Music Teacher Education Programmes in Europe and Latin America. He has also leaded a research project sponsored by the Spanish Government about the role of women at the Spanish school system. He has served as a commissioner of the Music in Schools and Teacher Education Commission (MISTEC), a part of the International Society of Music Education (ISME), from 2004 to 2010, being the Commission Chair for the two last years of that period. He is member of the ISME Board of Directors (2012-2016) and Editor of the Revista Internacional de Educación Musical journal.

Faculty member at the University of Granada, Music Education Department, working at the campus of Melilla. She is currently teaching at the teacher education programs for Early Childhood and the Primary Education, also at the master degree for teacher education in Secondary Education. These subjects are related to music education and educational research methods.

Her field of expertise is on creativity in music education both at the kindergarten and the Primary levels, with papers published in national and international journals and books, as a consequence of research projects she has taken part in.

She is also editor of the “Publicaciones” journal, issued by the Melilla Faculty of Education and Humanities. Since 2012, she is deputy chair representing the University of Granada Rector in Melilla Campus.

Paola is a teacher, program administrator, author, and teacher trainer. She has dedicated her work to serving as a music educator for children, coordinator of the international project Musica in Culla in Italy and Spain, coordinator of early childhood music for Scuola popolare di Musica Donna Olimpia in Rome, and teacher trainer and presenter in conservatories, hospitals, universities, public and private institutions in Italy, Spain, Palestine and Israel. Paola’s work focuses on the task of transforming the importance of music in a child’s life and development into reality in children’s lives. She has been interested for years in different cultures and musical traditions, practically experimenting with the language of music as an element of integration, communication and development in several European countries and beyond.

La Dott.ssa Avra Pieridou Skoutella ha progettato il partenariato strategico MUSICHILD coordinato dal Centro per la Ricerca e studio della musica di Cipro (CCRSM). E' il fondatore e Presidente del Consiglio di Amministrazione del CCRSM.

E' stata ricercatrice in Educazione Musicale presso l'Università di Londra in collaborazione con il Prof. Lucy Green (2012 e 2013). Nel settembre 2014 è stata nominata per un mandato di sei anni come membro del Comitato di Redazione della rivista "International Journal of Music Education": Ricerca. La Dott.ssa Skoutella ha insegnato educazione musicale nei corsi dell'Accademia di Musica ARTE nel 2002-2009. Prima di questo ha insegnato per diversi anni nel sistema educativo pubblico cipriota. La Dott.ssa Skoutella ha progettato e definito il primo programma di educazione musicale per la prima infanzia cipriota brevettandolo con il nome Preludio (2002 -). E' stata curatrice, educatrice e presentatrice dei due programmi ECME su vasta scala della Fondazione dell'Orchestra Sinfonica di Cipro (2009 e 2010). Avra è stata autrice e co-produttrice della pubblicazione innovativa di canti tradizionali ciprioti per i bambini; Attraverso pratiche di educazione musicalecontenute in un CD con i canti tradizionali dei bambini della costa orientale dell'isola, un libro con le attività di educazione musicale per insegnanti e genitori e una serie di song-book per i bambini. Il Ministero dell'Istruzione e della Cultura di Cipro ha concesso l'accreditamento alla pubblicazione l'ha distribuita agli asili pubblici e alle scuole elementari del paese.

La Dott.ssa Avra Pieridou Skoutella ha presentato documenti di ricerca in conferenze accademiche locali, regionali e internazionali e ha pubblicato articoli di ricerca e capitoli di libri su riviste e pubblicazioni a più mani in materia di istruzione, educazione musicale e etnomusicologia.

Avra detiene diplomi e lauree dell'Accademia Pedagogica di Cipro (Diploma di Insegnante), dell'Eastman School of Music-University of Rochester, Stati Uniti d'America (BM, con borsa di studio CASP-Fulbright), Università di Reading (MA) UK e Istituto di Istruzione-Università di Londra (PhD). Associazione per l'educazione nelle scuole dell'infanzia private di Cipro (CAPPE), membro della Federazione datori di lavoro e degli industriali di Cipro, è stata fondata nel 1976 ed è ora composta da 113 istituti privati per l'istruzione nell'età prescolare (scuole materne e asili nido). E 'l'unico rappresentante di educazione prescolare privata a Cipro e un partner sociale che esprime le sue opinioni e pareri su questioni pertinenti in commissioni, in Parlamento e in qualsiasi altra autorità di governo. Zoe Dionyssiou è Ricercatore in Educazione Musicale presso il Dipartimento di Musica della Ionian University, con sede a Corfu. Ha studiato educazione (Dipartimento di educazione della prima infanzia, Salonicco) e la musica. Ha completato i suoi studi post-laurea (master e dottorato in Educazione Musicale) presso l'Institute of Education, University of London. Dall'ottobre 2002 è docente di educazione musicale presso la Ionian University di Corfù. I suoi principali interessi di ricerca riguardano la musica per neonati e bambini, l'istruzione dei docenti di musica, l'insegnamento della musica tradizionale greca, la musica nei musei e nei progetti artistici multidisciplinari. Coordina una serie di attività educative musicali offerte dalla Ionian University, come i corsi di formazione di musica per neonati e bambini, programmi educativi per bambini in musei, gallerie d'arte e librerie. Ioanna Etmektsoglou ha studiato presso la University of Illinois (Urbana, USA), dove ha conseguito sia il bachelor che il master in Educazione Musicale e un dottorato di ricerca in Psicologia della Musica: Curriculum e Istruzione (1992). In una fase successiva, si è formata come musicoterapeuta (Μaster di Αrts, 2007) presso Anglia Ruskin University di Cambridge, in Inghilterra. Dal 1995, è stata un membro del personale accademico presso il Dipartimento di Musica della Ionian University di Corfù, in Grecia, insegnando corsi nel campo della psicologia della musica, educazione musicale, e musicoterapia. I suoi attuali interessi di psicologia educativa della musica si trovano a creare e testare evolutivamente e culturalmente significativi programmi scolastici, che mirano a favorire la creatività dei bambini, affinando la loro percezione acustica e incoraggiandoli ad apprezzare l'ambiente attraverso esperienze incentrate sul suono.

José Luis Aróstegui è professore di educazione Musicale presso l'Università di Granada - Spagna. La sua formazione è in musica classica occidentale, educazione e ricerca qualitativa. Durante 2001-2003, ha ottenuto una borsa di studio post-dottorato patrocinato dal Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione di Spagna presso la University of Illinois, USA.

Ha presentato documenti in una serie di conferenze internazionali (AERA, ISME, AEA) e pubblicazioni su riviste internazionali. Dal 2004 al 2007, è stato nominato dalla Commissione europea per coordinare una maggiore valutazione dei programmi dell'educazione dei docenti di musica in Europa e in America Latina. Ha anche guidato un progetto di ricerca promosso dal governo spagnolo in merito al ruolo delle donne presso la scuola spagnola. Ha operato come commissario per il MISTEC (Commissione per la Musica nelle Scuole e per la formazione degli insegnanti), e per l'ISME (Società internazionale per l'Educazione Musicale) dal 2004 al 2010, essendo il presidente della Commissione per i due ultimi anni di quel periodo. E 'membro del Consiglio di Amministrazione ISME (2012-2016) e Direttore della rivista Musical Revista Internacional de Educación.

Questi soggetti sono legati all'educazione musicale e ai metodi di ricerca educativi. Il suo campo di competenza è sulla creatività in educazione musicale, sia a scuola materna che in quelle primarie, con articoli pubblicati in riviste e libri nazionali e internazionali, a seguito dei progetti di ricerca a cui ha preso parte.

E' anche direttore della rivista "Publicaciones", pubblicato dalla Facoltà di Formazione e Lettere e Filosofia di Melilla. Dal 2012 è vicepresidente e rappresenta il Rettore dell'Università di Granada nel Campus di Melilla.

Paola è un insegnante, autore, formatore. Ha dedicato il suo lavoro all'insegnamento della busica ai bambini, è coordinatrice del progetto Musica in Culla internazionale in Italia e in Spagna, coordinatrice del dipartimento di musica per la prima infanzia presso la Scuola Popolare di Musica Donna Olimpia di Roma, è docente formatore in conservatori, ospedali, università, istituzioni pubbliche e private in Italia, Spagna, Palestina e Israele. Il lavoro di Paola si concentra sul compito di trasportare l'importanza della musica nella vita quotidiana dei bambini e nel loro sviluppo. E 'stata immersa per anni in diverse culture e tradizioni musicali, sperimentando praticamente il linguaggio della musica come elemento di integrazione, comunicazione e sviluppo in diversi paesi europei e non solo.

Dr Avra Pieridou Skoutella designed MUSICHILD Strategic Partnership which is coordinated by C.C.R.S.M. She is the Founder and President of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Centre for the Research and Study of Music (C.C.R.S.M.).

Dr Pieridou Skoutella was a Post-Doctoral Research Scholar in Music Education at the Institute of Education-University of London collaborating with Prof. Lucy Green (2012 & 2013). In September 2014 she was appointed to serve a six-year term as a member of the Editorial Committee of the International Journal of Music Education: Research. Dr Skoutella lectured at ARTE Music Academy courses in music education, ethnomusicology, musical anthropology and music leadership (2002-2009). Before this post she taught for a number of years in the Cypriot public educational system. Dr Skoutella designed and established the first Cypriot-registered early childhood music education programmes named Preludio (2002 -). She was the curator, educator and presenter of the two large scale ECME programmes of the Cyprus Symphonic Orchestra Foundation (2009 & 2010). Avra authored and co-produced the innovative publication Cypriot Traditional Songs for Children; Through Music Education Practices which contains a CD with traditional children’s singing from the east coast of the island, a book with music education activities for teachers and parents and a series of Song-books for young children. The Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus having granted accreditation to the publication, supplied the public kindergarten and primary schools of the country with it.

Dr Avra Pieridou Skoutella has presented research papers in local, regional and international academic conferences and she has published research articles and book chapters in peer-reviewed journals and publications in education, music education and ethnomusicology.

Avra holds diplomas and degrees from the Pedagogical Academy of Cyprus (Teacher’s Diploma), Eastman School of Music-University of Rochester, USA (B.M., with full CASP-Fulbright Scholarship), Reading University (M.A.) UK and Institute of Education-University of London (PhD). She is a certified Instructor of Infant Massage by the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM).

The Cyprus Association of Private Preschool Education (CAPPE), member of the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation, was founded in 1976 and is now consisted of 113 private preschool education institutions (nursery schools and kindergartens). It is the sole representative of private preschool education in Cyprus and a social partner which expresses its views and opinions over relevant matters at committees, the Parliament and any other government authority. Zoe Dionyssiou is Assistant Professor in Music Education at the Department of Music, Ionian University, based in Corfu. She studied Education (Department of Early Childhood Education, Thessaloniki) and music. She completed her postgraduate studies (MA and PhD in Music Education) at the Institute of Education, University of London. Since October 2002 she teaches music education at the Ionian University in Corfu. Her main research interests include music for babies and toddlers, music teachers’ education, the teaching of Greek traditional music, music in museums and cross-arts' projects. She coordinates a series of community music educational activities offered by Ionian University, such as Music Education courses for babies and toddlers, educational programmes for children in museums, art galleries and libraries. She is co-ordinator of the Project “Euterpi - Digital Music Anthology,” a project designed upon the receipt of ISME - Gibson 2012 award to both Greek Society for Music Education and Lilian Voudouri Music Library.

Ioanna Etmektsoglou studied at the University of Illinois (Urbana, U.S.A.), from where she has received both bachelor’s and master's degrees in Music Education and a Ph.D. in Psychology of Music: Curriculum and Instruction (1992). At a later stage, she trained as a music therapist (?aster of ?rts, 2007) at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, England. Since 1995, she has been a member of the academic staff at the Department of Music of the Ionian University in Corfu, Greece, teaching courses in the fields of music psychology, music education, and music therapy. Her current interests in educational psychology of music lie in creating and testing developmentally and culturally meaningful curriculum resources, aiming at fostering children’s creativity, refining their acoustic perception and encouraging them to appreciate the environment through experiences centered on sound.

José Luis Aróstegui is Professor at University of Granada--Spain--, Music Education at the University of Granada. His formal training is in Western classical music, education and qualitative research. During 2001-2003, he held a postdoctoral fellowship sponsored by the Ministry of Education of Spain at the University of Illinois, USA.
He has presented papers at a number of international conferences (AERA, ISME, AEA) and published papers in international journals and publishing companies. From 2004 to 2007, he was appointed by the European Commission to co-ordinate a major evaluation of Music Teacher Education Programmes in Europe and Latin America. He has also leaded a research project sponsored by the Spanish Government about the role of women at the Spanish school system. He has served as a commissioner of the Music in Schools and Teacher Education Commission (MISTEC), a part of the International Society of Music Education (ISME), from 2004 to 2010, being the Commission Chair for the two last years of that period. He is member of the ISME Board of Directors (2012-2016) and Editor of the Revista Internacional de Educación Musical journal.

Faculty member at the University of Granada, Music Education Department, working at the campus of Melilla. She is currently teaching at the teacher education programs for Early Childhood and the Primary Education, also at the master degree for teacher education in Secondary Education. These subjects are related to music education and educational research methods.

Her field of expertise is on creativity in music education both at the kindergarten and the Primary levels, with papers published in national and international journals and books, as a consequence of research projects she has taken part in.

She is also editor of the “Publicaciones” journal, issued by the Melilla Faculty of Education and Humanities. Since 2012, she is deputy chair representing the University of Granada Rector in Melilla Campus.

Paola’s work focuses on the task of transforming the importance of music in a child’s life and development into reality in children’s lives. She has been interested for years in different cultures and musical traditions, practically experimenting with the language of music as an element of integration, communication and development in several European countries and beyond.
